THE PURPLE LABYRINTH

90min | french, english

A workshop about words, games and everything in between This session will explore the broad spectrum of textual games and experiences, from early implementation of interaction fictions to the utopia of an emergent interactive narration. Together, we will try to understand how textual games went from experiments to mainstream, then back to the underground, only to emerge again in new clothes. We will examine the tools of the trade, the current trends and subjects, the technical, artistic and economic challenges, the major authors across the world and the great masterworks of all eras.
